Show your support for Credo High School, a Waldorf inspired college prep public charter high school in Rohnert Park, California.

By signing this petition you are telling the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District Board of Trustees you support choice in public education.

Credo Benefits the Community:

1.  Credo offers families another choice in high school education. Each child is unique with a learning style just as unique. Credo is a wonderful addition to traditional public school.

2.  Credo attracts families from around the greater Bay Area and even across the country. Credo families shop, dine and gather in Rohnert Park.

3.  The K-8 North Bay Waldorf community now has a public school choice for Waldorf high school.

Credo Benefits its Students:

1.  Credo teaches to the whole student.

2.  Credo offers an excellent academic program. 95% of sophomores passed the high school exit exam, and the school received an API score of 823, third highest in Sonoma County. Credo's program requirements exceed the University of California admission requirements.

3.  All Credo students not only take four years of college-prep academic classes, but they also take subjects like practical arts, fine arts, music, drama, farming, social sustainability and more.

The Credo Community is Committed to Credo!

1.  Many parents donate funds and resources to support the very rich program that Credo gives its students.

2.  Parents give time to the school, chaperoning field trips and dances, bringing in hot lunches, mentoring students, helping with plays, speaking to the student body, facilitating open houses, and much, much more.

3.  We will do what it takes to keep our school!

Credo is Viable:

1.  Credo started two years ago during the worst time financially, yet the debt incurred is quite typical for a start-up charter school. Credo is paying off its loans on schedule.

2.  Next year's budget is balanced, and Credo is still able to offer its rich Waldorf program without compromise.

3.  WASC will visit Credo for an accreditation review in the fall of 2013, and Credo fully expects to be accredited in the spring of 2014.

I believe Credo High School is an asset to the community of Rohnert Park and I urge the Trustees of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District to keep Credo open and support its ongoing success.
