Mr. Dean is a music director at Hall High School(Spring Valley-Illinois) and more than that he inspires the kids to reach beyond their grasps. He teaches that each and every kid possess skills, passion and the courage to stand up in front of crowds and belt out a song or play an instrument with confidence. But Mr. Dean might not be here next year because of budget cuts and becasue sports is more important to the people who run the school and backers than the arts. To them it is more important for the school to garner laurels and acolytes from successful sports forays than for the success of the kids in academitcs and the arts. Please tell them that school is about the kids, not about the glory of the board members...Keep Mr. Dean-Arts/Academetics are at least as important as sports. They are more so...Its about the kids education not about forgotten sports records....hallhighschool.org.....Check it out...its all sports, nothing about anything else. And isn't that is what school is all about...EDUCATION...
