The student body would like to request a course in applied circuits that focuses on building and designing circuits and systems that are applicable in the real world. We envision this course consisting of mostly lab work, similar to 55:036, but with an emphasis more on dealing with hardware than software. We are pursuing this class because we feel that there is not enough practical lab work that deals specifically with hardware within the current curriculum. By adding this applied circuits course students would be able to further grasp their understanding of circuit analysis through hands on experience.
