According to ARAMARKâs website, âARAMARK seeks to responsibly address the issues that are most concerning to universities and colleges today.â If this is so, then the NGSCU community needs to help ensure that all students are guaranteed equal options for food in the Dining Hall, specifically those who suffer from food allergies. While there are options for these students, these options may lack weekly, if not daily, variety among other inconveniences such as extra preparation time for special meals.
Another aspect of the Dining Hallâs operation that is a problem for students at NGCSU is the time frame that students are allowed to take advantage of the facility. The posted hours are Monday-Thursday: 7am-8pm, Friday:7am-7pm, Saturday: 8am-7pm, and Sunday: 8am-8pm. Students canât always arrange their schedules so that they cooperate with the Dining Hallâs hours of operation; therefore, even after one has paid a substantial amount of money for ARAMARKâs services, one canât enter the facility at a reasonable hour to eat. Many NGCSU students complain about these hours, especially when they work late and cannot eat at the Dining Hall after 8pm during the week.
