Two years ago the crossing guard at our school was laid off. This year we have an earlier start time and more parents are driving their kids to school. The increased traffic and lack of parking is a bigger problem now than in the past. We want the City of Yonkers to change the No Parking signs so that they end at 2pm to enable parents to park and safely pick up their children from school. We also want two speed bumps at either end of the school ENTRANCE so that cars are less likely to speed by where kids are crossing.
