Due to the 50/50 nature of the Media Advisory Board Student Fee vote in Spring 2012 General Ballot Election, we are petitioning and requesting that the University of Colorado Colorado Springs Student Government Association hold a Special Election before the end of the Spring 2012 semester that once again asks the student body the following question:
Are you, the student body, in favor of a $7.00 per student feefor the fall and spring semesters and $3.50 fee for the summer semester headcount fee (NOT credithour) to support The Scribe student newspaper, UCCS Radio Station, UCCS Television Station, andother student-run media on campus? This will be a non-sunsetting fee that will begin in the fall of2012 and yield an estimated $127,316 annually for student-run media at UCCS.
