My journey started in 1977 although I was decisive on what I wanted to do. I came to UMKC 4 years ago. It has been an amazing journey. I have reached goals that I never knew or dreamed I could reach. I was on the right track I finally knew through substiting in schools and working in the community with youth what it was I wanted to major in. I have never been so sure. I want every student to have knowledge which is power.
I have been so determined in my studies here at UMKC to reach my goal. But although I have been advised through advisors and reached what the expectation is or was, to be faced with another blow! First it was I had to pass test and I did. Then it was to make a C average and I did, Then it was the most upsetting of all. Now I can't get in the school of Education because I don't have a 2.75!
I am determine to reach my goal and go the extra mile to earn my degree in Education.
