I am sure as parents we already are trying to accomplished everdays life demands, and at most schools there is always a percentage of parents that can make it thru the traffics of assigned dropoff areas and those who can't. I do understant that in some cases is not safe to drop off childrens for example near crossing or if interrupting traffic, but there are many other areas where these signs are posted that are perfectlly safe and does not interupts anyones life. If we can assign exempt drop off hours for example 7:15 -8:00 am parents dropping children off children will feel that the closer they are to school the safer they will be. Instead traffic signs accomodate everyone that collects on city parkimeters but can not accomodate our children's safety. At the same time I am sure that most schools have the same issues regarding the traffic and the time it takes to get thru the assigned drop off, while on the other hands parents like me that drop my kids off near school feel that they are safer at the crossguard sight. Instead we have to find ways to drop off kids where we would not get a ticket and have to find unsafer futher from school areas to drop off kids and make everyones life more stressfull then it already is.
