Safer bus stop for children at brians woods road

Over the past two years, Brians Woods Road has became a very populated area. Many of the children are ages 5 through 12. The current bus stop is located at the end of Brians Woods Road, right on Hwy 53/Burgaw. This is one of the most high traffic highways located in Onslow County. Currently the residents must drive all the way to the end of the road and park in front of a current residents house, that is now been closed off to access the bus area. This is causing the residents to park in the road and children to stand beside the road where traffic goes really fast in and out of Brians Woods Road and big tractor trailer trucks use the highway. This is not a safe area for our children to be waiting on a bus or getting on a bus for that matter. Now access is been cut off due to neighbors getting upset and not allowing parking in front of their homes, because their personal property is been destroyed by vehicles. People could walk, but on cold  and rainy days what are we suppose to do?  Brians Woods Road is currently paved and a bus has plenty of room to drive down Brians Woods Road and pick of the children. This would provide more safety for our children and we would not have to worry about someone running over our children and killing them or a tractor trailer running into the bus on the busy highway and killing every child on the bus.
