It has been recently been revealed to the 1st year medical students at the Medical University of Warsaw, that the already low number of specimens available for the 90+ students in the anatomy dissection rooms, will be lowered to half of the previous amount due to complaints made to the dean about the strong odor of formaldehyde. Although this is true, we believe that the individuals affected can take precautions themselves to reduce their exposure, as opposed to taking away learning material from both the English, and Polish programs. Anatomy is a science that is learned by observation, and we feel that it is our right to be supplied with an adequate amount of specimens during laboratory classes.
