I started taking German for two reasons, one my family is mostly German, and I wanted to talk with them in this language, two I thought it would be a fun language to speak. I know most people think German is just some boring language, but to me it means a lot. I care about German a lot and I don't think the school district should crush a lot of kid’s hearts, because they won't be able to take it next year if they do cut it. I’ve talked to a few kids younger than me and they say they have wanted to take German forever, and I don’t want to see them hurt. All I know is that I’ve learned so much this year in German, and I don’t want to forget the memories if I have to take a different language. I can't let this happen; I don't want it to happen. You may not take German, but deep down inside, you know you care just is much as I do.
