The 1400 homes in Harriet Creek Ranch are limited to only two means of exiting the neighborhood. By anybody's measure, that's a safety concern.
Any back-up on 114 or 156, or both, can leave us all trapped by the bottlenecks at these exits. The back part of our neighborhood has no exit of their own. They also have no entrance for emergency vehicles to serve them when every minute counts.
The inability to quickly exit onto or enter from a major thoroughfare leaves our residents impatient and frustrated. The delays associated with getting to and from the isolated parts of our neighborhood prompts some to speed down our residential streets. Emergency first responders are forced to navigate more twists and turns than they should where children, bikes and animals may pose risks and delay them.
The lack of sufficient neighborhood exits effects us all. Please join with us to prompt the City of Fort Worth, City of Northlake, and/or Denton County to create more Harriet Creek Ranch entrances and exits.
