The core reasons as to why Commission for Higher Education must issue public apology include:
1). The remarks negatively impacted KIU students and Alumni. They have already lost consideration in the on-going recruitments.
2). CHE is the sole regulatory body for higher education in Kenya, the Commission is duty-bound to inform members of the public of those universities that are authorized to opera
te. It failed in this duty and therefore the commissioners must resign and apologize!
3). Every year, there are over 40,000 Kenyan students enrolled in Ugandan schools and the Kenyan government is aware of the exodus. This effectively means that since the last election, about 200,000 Kenyans have been trained in Uganda - KIU leading the numbers!
Ladies and gentlemen, the prof was out of tune during his speech!
