During the summer break some parents received notification that the school buses would not be available for the children attending Pony Express Elementary School. Was this due to MORE cuts? Is the Safety, Health and Welfare of our children not important anymore?
We the parent feel this would be detrimental to our childrens safety, health and welfare. Now our children would be walking to school which in some cases are more than two of miles away.
Our children would be exposed to:
* High Traffic Area
* Predators lurking and casing out the area
* Possible Child Abductions
* Then there is the issue of both parent requiring to work in order to make ends meet........
