Thank Bill Nye for Supporting Sound Science!

Bill Nye, the former "Science Guy" has told it like it is on Youtube.com. In a video cleverly titled "Creationism Is Not Appropriate For Children," the former TV celebrity deplores America's refusal to accept and teach the theory of evolution. Describing Darwinism as "the fundamental idea in all of life science," Nye points out that superstitious beliefs about the age of the earth and the origins of man hold back a nation that has historically taken pride in innovation and embracing good science. 

Nye went on to urge parents who disbelieve in evolution not to impose those beliefs on their children, but to allow their children to learn what the scientific community universally believes to be true about the origins of humankind. Nye's manifesto has huge implications for the teaching of science in public schools across America.
