Our Children & Teachers Deserve Better Air Quality In Our Classrooms

Children & teachers are getting ill in classrooms due  to poor air quality.   In the U.S.  40% of our schools are 60 years old or older according to PARADE magazine (August 12, 2012).  Many of these schools have poor ventilation systems and/or toxic mold problems.

As a teacher for 33 years, I saw many students become ill in my classroom (as well as myself) and I was never able to tell them why they were getting sick.  I am severely allergic to 27 different molds and I have now lost my voice, my colon & ileum are inflamed, and there is erosion in my stomach for the rest of my life.  I have won a workman comp lawsuit but my health will never be the same.  Imagine what this is doing to our children on a daily basis!  Are we creating another epidemic similar to mesothelioma?

We must request a law to be made for our children & teachers--there is NO LAW to protect our children or teachers from this atrocity in our schools.  We must let our Senate & Congress know that we support our teachers and our future--OUR CHILDREN!
