Re-instate my college scholarship

My Grandfather passed away two weeks into my first semeaster Freshman year and I had to leave school to attend the funeral.
My group won the challenge award in the Engineering lab and I was shocked that I did not receive a higher grade in theis class.
I was trying to recover from these evenet inthe Fall when Calculus really challenged me academically.  I was fairing well early in the semester and recieved one low grade which decreaesd my overall grade going into the final.  I studied hard, however the final brought my overall grade down.  I plan to re-take the course in Sumemr session II and focus only on this subject.  I plan in the Fall of 2012 to seek out professors early and often for assistance and utilize the tuturing services available to me.
