Every year, kids buy books, folders and notebooks for school that use up thousands of tons of paper. With the technology that we have today, students can use ipad type devices that can be used to read write and file without the use of any paper. Aproximately 76% of people in the U.S own a computer and especially with the younger generation, switching from paper to device will be very easy. The ipad has all types of programs that can teach students in fun and creative ways. Im not saying that paper products should be eliminated from schools, I just feel that they can be severely limited. This is the wave of the future, and this is a great way to start limiting our tree destruction and save the planet.
