Over 200 members, 70 new ones this year, and a home too small for even the committee - don't let the union ignore us any more!
Why you should sign this:
We need to accommodate a society which has grown hugely since the start of the year.

With over 200 members, The University of Leicester's LGBTQ Association has grown rapidly this year, to the point where our common room and home is now too small for our society. Even when just the committee meet, the room is reaching capacity. It means that people have to stand in the corridor, a safety hazard which makes people feel unwelcomed from the society and less likely to attend again.
Yet the union has ignored all previous requests to get a bigger room; and this is the last time we will ask. We need a room which is useable and suitable for our society!
We have a number of ideas of where we could use, but we only have a chance of getting a suitable room if you help us show the demand for it.
Please sign this, and when we have enough signatures the LGBTQ Association Committee will take them to try and get us a bigger home that we need.
