Languages grow and change with the times - none more so than English. Allowing "takei" to be accepted into the language as a synonym for "gay" will give everyone, especially young people struggling with their sexuality and the bullying they might encounter, the chance to use a word that is becoming uiversally accepted and even "cool".
It's OK to be takei!
