Reinstall the Genetics 375: Contemporary Issues in HIV/AIDS Prevention course into the available cur

In order to uphold the values of the Wisconsin Idea, endorsed by the University itself, we, the Genetics 375 spring class of 2012, petition against the discontinuation of Contemporary Issues in HIV/AIDS Prevention.  That the curriculum therein, promoting outreach and public service beyond the classroom, be available to current and future students of this university.  That this course, through a meager two-credit incentive, may present the student body of UW-Madison an opportunity to expand the teaching and learning experience outside the confines of the classroom and into the campus community.  We, in order to protect the Wisconsin Idea and the curriculae which exemplify its values, request for the reconsideration of the discontinuation of Genetics 375: Contemporary Issues in HIV/AIDS Prevention.
