Most, if not all colleges in the United States of America, are requiring that students who will be applying for that particular school to fill out a section defining them as a certain race. While this may seem harmless, why should something such as this be included at all? While the colleges may be able to say that they are not biased toward their decision toward who they're accepting (by considering a person's culture, race, or religion), this is far from the fact of the matter. If colleges revealed the complete process out to the public concerning how they truly decide whether students get accepted, the public would be shocked to see the negative effects that would transpire forthwith. The sole reason that schools should accept a student would be their academic performances, their personality, and their extracurricular activities.
