The need to continue offering the EMS-10 (Emergency Medical Technician) Day Class

As current students of the EMS-10 (Emergency Medical Technician) class, students of Troy Hess and Jeannie Mills, we would like to appeal to the Office of Instruction to reconsider dropping the day class for EMS-10.  Los Medonos EMS-10 program is one of, if not the best training for EMT Students in this entire county.  The instructors are some of the best this county has to offer students; they bring not only the instructional information needed but they have the field experience as well.  The instructors are engaging, and tremendously helpful, and truly want to see you succeed.  We are not taking a course on how to repair a car, we are dealing with peoples lives and there is no price you can put on that.  Each semester the class fills above capacity and many are turned away, with the loss of the day class many more students would be turned away only to possibly receive a substandard education elsewhere.  I do not know about you but I only want the best taking care of my family members.  The decision to drop the day class will severely affect students who are trying to take classes in the day so they can work at night.  Having the option of a day or evening class has made less of a burden on students trying to support families and still attend school. Please reconsider your decision to drop the day class as your decision will far outreach more then you will know.  Thank you for your attention with this matter.
