Tell the NFL, NBA and MLB that if they want high schools to turn out good athletes, they need to pay

Every Spring Principals fill teaching nd staff positions with applicants based on their coaching skills, instead of their teaching skills. A major reason that American schools are failing is because students do not have the best teachers. Students have teachers who teach all day, coach all night, lesson plan and grade papers in between. Coaches would rather be able to focus on their players and not be responsible for teaching. Principals would rather fill teaching positions with the best candidates, but they do not have the money. School hall monitors should not be coaching assistants that pander to the athletes. Hall monitors should be professionals that treat all students equally, but Principals fill these positions with coaching assistants. The professional sports leagues (NBA, NFL and MLB) make billions of dollars a year. The professional sports leagues should pay for High School coaching staff.
