Bring Back The Old Shamu Shows!

Up until 2006, all of the SeaWorld Shamu shows had one thing in common: they were educational. Now that SeaWorld is under fire more than ever from activists, people have been criticizing the lack of education in their shows; therefore questioning the whole purpose of these parks in the first place. Unless you get to the show early, you won't be learning any cool facts on Shamu the killer whale. Not only do the new shows lack education, but they really aren't that fun.
Believe and One Ocean are acceptable, but they can and never will fully replace The Shamu Adventure. A show needs to interact with the guests, make the guests feel like they are part of the show, they need to teach us about that animal. Neither show does that in the way The Shamu Adventure (and previous shows) did. Trainers rarely talk to the guests anymore. What about the Splash Victim segment where one lucky guest is tricked into getting soaked while the trainer puts up an umbrella to avoid the splash? The guest ends up walking away with a Splash Victim towel leaving the audience bursting with laughter. (video below) The new shows just aren't fun anymore. They lack education and entertainment.
What about waterworks though? Yes, waterworks was amazing, but even when Believe used waterworks, the show just couldn't compare to the previous Shamu shows.
The Shamu Story is a nice addition, but is far from the excitement you got during the old shows. The Shamu Story is only at SeaWorld San Antonio and San Diego, and its seasonal, so few guests have a chance of viewing it unless they come during the off-season.
It's simple - we want the fun back. Why should we feel sad when we look back and ask for the "good old days back" when we can have them back? We need to tell SeaWorld want we really want! Some people may say that petitions will never work, but what's the harm in trying?
