Rehire the Teacher's Aides

On March 12, 2012, The Ridgeview Community Unit School District #19 School Board, voted 7 to 0 to do a reduction in force for all the teachers aides. Waht this means is that 13 people are out of a job which is a lost to themselves and also for the parents and children that are effected. My children (as well as other children) have been helped by these wonderful people in terms of either special and regular education students. If it was not for these teacher's aides, many children would be falling behind in their studies and their peers. I care about my children and what the best for them, even if it raises our taxes. I think it is not fair for adminstrative personnel to get raises and yet the teacher's aides get let go from their positions. Will you sign this petition to rehire the teacher's aides?
I have also listed the school board's email addresses. Please write to them about how wrong this decision is as it effects the Ridgeview Community.
