We have had enough. The WORLD has had enough. Ignorance is NOT bliss. Ignorance is lethal, dangerous, and fatal. Itâs time for the world to put our âfoot down,â and take control. Not by fighting âfire with fire,â but by finding a solution, and ending one-sided fires before they begin, taking a stance, and making it happen. Itâs time for the youth of the world to unite, and end vicious cycles of ignorance in our communities, and start celebrating, valuing, and appreciating the power of education.
Recent events, starting from the terrorist bombings in New Delhi, home burnings in Orissa, and bombings in Assam, to the near-siege pointless killings in Mumbai have us fed up.
We refuse to put up with anymore emotions of anxiety and perturbed thoughts every time we turn on the news, not knowing whether today our home land was hit by a bomb and almost torn apart by mayhem and chaos. We are not going to take it anymore.
We refuse to make anymore phone calls to relatives and friends profusely praying that they are all well, and had not been involved or caught in an attack on their city.
We refuse to see innocent people suffer and die in an ignorant, pointless war stemmed by brainwashed, impoverished, desperate, uneducated people wanting to belong.
We refuse to see innocent beings who are unfortunate enough not to be able to afford a proper education, being taken advantage of by psychopathic, disturbed, ruthless maniacs trying to create unnecessary disturbances in the world already filled with enough problems and hate, without these unnecessary, heart-breaking, ridiculous, ignorant beings, poisoning the minds of young boys and girls, convincing them that their psychotic mentality, is the right thought process.
We refuse to see this continue and we are putting our foot DOWN.
