We the students of Sunnyvale High School call on Sunnyvale High School and Sunnyvale Independent School District to keep Mrs. Dotson, a current library aid at Sunnyvale High School, to approve her new plan for the library and to eventually hire her as the highschool librarian.
Mrs. Dotson is a excellent library aid and deserves to be treated better than how she is currently treated. She has not only expanded the library, but she has gotten the students more invloved in reading. Mrs. Dotson is a hard worker who has established new reading programs to incourage the students to become more active in the library.
By inspiring students to read more and connecting with students and teachers, Mrs. Dotson has brought life back into the library and into the lives of the students that she impacts. I call upon call of the student body and faculty to show their support for Mrs. Dotson by signing this petition, not only to save a job, but to save a wonderful and caring person. We will do anything in our power to get her through, because is she leaves a lot of hearts will be broken!
