Throughout the entire semester the majority have been having problems with Dr. Buttigieg. He claims that we can go to office anytime if we have questions but the problem is that he is not approachable. When he is asked a question, he responds in a rude response and talks down to the students. He has sent numerous emails that have been impolite and unprofessional to the students. No one is going to approach him if they are just going to be talked down to and criticised. In regards to his teaching style, he clearly should not be teaching year one or even year two students. His expectations of the class are impossible to achieve. Also he does not even go off of our assigned textbook and goes off of a different one. Whenever the textbook contradicts his answer he claims that he is always right. In addition, his lecture notes are impossible to follow which makes studying difficult. There has been talk that Dr. Buttigieg will be teaching BIOL 222 in year two. Please sign this petition to withdraw Dr. Buttigieg from teaching BIOL 222 so that the nursing students can actually be successful in this course.
