Today 10th grade IB students across Coral Reef senior high were notified in a change in the workings of the Extended Essays with their supervisors. This was despite the fact that most students were previously informed to pick a superviser EARLY on order to assure that they receive a suitable supervisor for their topic area. Now, it was all to change.
All students are to be entered into an automized system in which they are unanimously distributed to different supervisors.
It is ethically unfair that a student who has gone out of their way to get a supervisor must now be entered into a system in which all their previous work has been gone to waste.
