Our names are Shylo Rosborough, Avaline Wright and Nathan Olanday and we need your help.
We all go to Ross Sheppard High School and are inrolled in this amazing coarse called health sciences. It's a class where people wanting to go into medicine can learn and explore the health field. We learn tons of amazing health knowledge and techniques. It's been so incredible. Every day we get to learn more about helping people (which is what we all want to do with our lives) but at the same time it's helping us. This class has given us an opportunity to dive a little deeper into our personal identities in medicine. The things we find out we love and others that maybe we don't, all before spending thousands of dollars at med school. It's been the highlight of our year. Next year we would be going into year 2 health sciences which shows us the steps to getting into med school, first aid techniques and even doing work experience in hospitals or in any pharmacy and clinics, but we have received the news that this class is canceled forever due to funding cuts. We are all devastated but not only are we being affected our amazing teacher who designed the whole course by herself and is a great person to look up too will lose her job. We are wondering if everyone you know, can help us to keep this class alive by sighing this petiton and show the school board that a lot f people care about this class.
We will do everything it takes. Thank you,
Shylo, Avaline and Nathan
