Coach Antwan Edwards has been the assistant coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball Team for the past three years. He is considered to be the Skills Coordinator for the team but he is so much more. We are aware that Coach Edwards resigned not too long ago but we are petitioning to have him rehired as the Head Coach for the Phoebus High Girls Varsity Basketball team. He has trained us, supported us and been the main reason why many of the girls chose Phoebus as the high school that they wanted to play for. He was the Head coach for many of the girls while coaching for the Black Widows AAU league. He cares about us learning the necessary skills to play and has given up time personal time for himself and with his family to better us as athletes, as well as, students. He promotes teamwork, skills training and hard work. We want him to have the opportunity to show you what we already know.....that he IS an awesome coach and deserves to coach us during the 2013-2014 school year. If you know anything about Coach E then you know that "he is the best and if not he's the best you've ever seen"! Please allow Coach Antwan Edwards to return to his home...Phoebus High School...as the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls.
