With the states benefiting tremendously from these gambling games the only losers are the people that support it and receive very little if anything in return. These gambling games feed off the poor!
20 years ago the states that sponsor these gambling games increased the odds of anyone winning by some 70 million. Then they increase the cost to play Power Ball by 100 percent making a single ticket now $2.00
We need a change in the payouts of 1 to 5 numbers plus Power Ball they should be much higher than they are since the odds of winning anything even $3 is very remote. More people need to be rewarded not just one or two lucky individuals.
In addition the way this money is taxed is very unfair to the winner more emphasis should be placed on the taxes and actual cash option Jack Pot amount the way it is portrayed to the public is very deceiving
More education is needed instead of funding wild life projects lets start funding education as we are becoming more and more a second class nation to countries that are much poorer than we are.
Finally back to higher payouts. Maybe more people could benefit instead of 1 or 2 individuals. Perhaps allowing for more people to share in the so called dream. Perhaps allowing for higher payouts so some of these 3 and 4 correct numbers could allow for seed money to start their own dreams come true.
