As a parent of a student at CCAT I feel that this past Fridays events were totally uncalled for and handled poorly, to say the least. According to the Statesboro Herald, Mr. R is quoted as saying that Ms. Sheila was let go due to students having low test scores and that 11 of her students failed her history class last year. We feel that Ms. Sheila is being singled out for reasons yet unknown and that the reasons quoted to the News Media were untruthful. Because Mr. R's actions affect our children, We the students & parents, demand to see ALL of the other teachers test scores and to know the other teachers student pass/fail ratios as well as those of Ms. Sheila. We also demand to know why she was so abrupty dismissed on Friday, May 17, 2013 and we demand to know why the police were called to the school. The events of Friday, May 17, 2013 affected not just our children, the students of CCAT but also affected all the parents and will continue to affect both students and parents alike. WE WANT ANSWERS!!! WE WANT MS. SHEILA BACK!!!
