There is a teacher at my son's school who treats all the black or biracial children in her class like trash. There has been 4 students either expelled or up for expulsion so far due to her racisim. She has done the following to my child:
1. Improperly exelled him
2. Discriminated against him-Calling him a liar when he tries to defend himself, this has nothing to do with any schoolwork such as "Did you hand in the test".
3. Educational Malpractice" Failing to provide him his education saying that they can't do anything else for him. Denied my request for an IEP (Individualized Educational Program) by saying that they do not offer the test, did not wait until the FAPE (Section 504 was completed by physician before expelling student), Has not sent a letter of IEP denial (Past 30 days), Has not sent the Expulsion determination letter) I have called 3 times so far and they still have not sent the letter.
4. Excessive punishment- He has been subjected to unreasonable punishment. He has been emotionally anguished by what the teacher says to him and about him.
Made my son strip search because she thought he had brought marbles to school, he had to take his socks and shoes off, empty his pockets. He was also not allowed to use the restroom when they also have on file a Dr. notice stating that he has a urinary urgency problem. He was also told to change his pants that he had wet in front of the teacher which he felt uncomfortable and did not do. So he got kicked out for that.
She also wrote him up for when he was on crutches saying that he used them both to try to hit her, which he did not or he would have fell considering that he wasn't able to balance 1 leg the other was in a cast. Told my son that when he was off 7 weeks from school recovering from his surgery for his broken ankle that the class and herself were better off without him being there. There is so much more to this story. I have also spoke to several other parents and a few of them have stated that they are going through similar incidences like ours. One parent stated to me that her son who is also black was threatened by this teacher and she wrote him up saying that he threatened her. Other parents have told me that a white and black student were in an altercation and that the black student got sent down to the office and the white student did not. Everytime the teacher speaks to the parents and students she always seems like she is distraught and starts raising her voice and one time when she was outside meeting me in my vehicle she opened my vehicle door before I could like she was in control. She has also told me in a meeting one time that my son will be a loser when he grows up and that he will never be able to function in society. These are just some of the few incidences that have happened. They are refusing my son his educational rights, student rights and have put him and my family through mental anguish. I have been doing research on this type of stuff and found that it's not uncommon.
