Hilltop Elementary does not have an advanced math program, and many of the students need to be challenged more. Starting in 3rd grade, advanced math students should have their own class.
The "accelerated math" program is not sufficient enough for our brightest students because it is "in addition to " not "in place of." Bright math students should not be punished with extra work in order to advance themselves; they should have work given to them on their own level.
