The government has stripped BC Teachers of the right to fight for:
*class size limits
*adequate staffing levels or ratios
*and work loads--among other important factors that deeply affect our children's learning environment.
A teacher's role should be facilitating learning--not crowd control.
Overcrowded, understaffed classrooms hurt our children's ability to learn.
This in turn hurts our children's futures.
BC teachers' demands, ARE demands for our children's education.
I care about quality education, and believe my government should too.
