I’ve been a student of Broward College since the summer term of 2009. After several years of study, I completed my Paramedic Certificate in the summer of 2012
Under my own negligence I failed to recognize that I only needed one more class to complete my A.S degree.
I let several months lapse between semesters in an attempt to study for my Paramedic state license; and to find a job that would satisfy my new achievements.
In February of 2013, I successfully passed my state of Florida Paramedic test and wanted to begin the journey of finding a job in my new field. Early April, my search ended. I am now a practicing paramedic at Broward General Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale.
I had every intention of finishing my A.S. degree; but under my own negligence, I failed to recognize that I only needed one more class to complete my A.S degree.
I did not aware of the policies to which pertained to the change of the catalogue year. Had I known, I would have made every attempt to finish in the allotted time frame.
With the direction of Hiromi Ninomiya, I’ve signed up for the summer term
It is with great humility that I kindly ask you to consider my request to allow me this chance to finish my A.S. this summer term. I have plans to continue my education and complete my B.S. degree here at Broward College. I have had nothing but positive memories here and I only wish to continue my educational path here at Broward College.
