After over five years of arduous work, time, effort and money – Nicholas Ali, former PhD candidate within the School of Human Kinetics, Department of Health Science at the University of Ottawa was withdrawn from his program of studies.

Notwithstanding, Mr. Ali has published his doctoral thesis in reputable peer reviewed scientific journals. Despite such an accomplishment, Mr. Ali’s PhD thesis was deemed unacceptable by his thesis committee and thus unable to proceed to an oral defence. Concurrently, he has submitted evidence to prove reasonable apprehension of bias of a thesis examiner, conflict of interest between thesis examiner and his supervisor, lack of procedural fairness in review of his thesis, and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies substantive review of his thesis.
