We would like to request that the Cheerleaders who have previously made the varsity cheer squad for the 2012-2013 school year and did not quilify for placement for the 2013-2014 squad be placed on the squad. These cheerleaders have proven in the past that they are worthy and deserving to be called a Steele High School Cheerleader. However, these same cheerleaders where not given that opportunity for the 2013-2014 cheer squad . They where told that they either did not make the cut or where placed on a team that was below there caliber of skills. However, there are several cheerleaders that was given the title of varisty cheerleader and did not or then or now prove that they are worthy of such a title. I asking that you sign this petition in support of those who did not make the squad and are deserving of placement on the squad. If the school picks the best of the best to represent the football, basket ball and band shouldn't we expect the same of all the programs to include cheer.
