Help Romi get a new laptop!

You've been there, maybe you're there now:
A student for graphic design who is stuck with a Dell PC since 2008, struggling to keep up with a not-so-functional-anymore laptop which breaks down,
has a useless webcam that literally restarts the computer whenever trying to Skype with loved ones from across the pond,
has a CD drive that has a mind of its own, making growling noises whenever it feels like,
battery dying even though it's been fully charged and replaced,
slow, very slow, even thought there's enough memory space left on it,
and many more 'fun stuff' making the day more enjoyable.

What else?
Imagine you're in art school. Everyone has a fancy looking Macbook. All the facilities in the university if for Mac computers.
Font server? Macs only
Workshops? Macs only
Need a help figuring something out on you PC? Technicians are like WHAT IS THIS DEVICE. WHY SO OLD. 

So you see, it's not like I'm a fan of Apple (because I really am not), I just need the best possible laptop to work with, in order to channel my inner creativity into the best device that can handle me.

So help me, sign the petition. Hopefully my dad (hi aba!) will realize that this.is.what.I.need.
