This group is being created after my school project was sabotaged by fundamental christian teachers in Maine in 2011. What started out as a project for my literacy through music class has now found it's way here to care2. I have something to say and I can now say it without being silenced. My school project is what you see above as we had to pick a song and then write about the meanings we saw to that song. My class never saw the video, read my words and it was stopped half way through. Everyone elses songs for this project got played all the way through and you could see the video and their comments. My project was also the only one that got lost. Thanks Care2 for giving me a special place where I feel protected and can exercise my freedom of speech and expression.

This is the same school that does not have evolution books and when I asked where they were I was told maybe he would teach us something Christian. The same public school that only has republican posters up as well. One sided. If political posters are going up they should show ALL sides not just one. The posters were reported to someone on the school board to the Adult Education department but nothing was done.

Final Note: Take religious beliefs OUT of your teachings! Your way is not the only way and I am tired of being beaten with your holy book and silenced.
