"Please change this law. Looking for off campus housing that is affordable is stressful enough without the You Plus Two Law. Standard housing almost always has four bedrooms and hardly any students I know can afford to have three people paying for a four bedroom house; they're just too expensive. Two bedroom apartments are even too high end. It seems to do more harm than good by keeping the law in place because the people causing trouble that the law tries to prevent will do what they want to anyway. There are more students in Fort Collins who care about being responsible and enjoying where they live than partying and disrupting their neighbors. It doesn't make sense to me that I have to sacrifice affordability and enjoyment of living because there have been people who abuse their living situations."
