It should be stated, that in no way is this petitioning a ploy to close Scholars Academy Charter School. The objective of this petition is to ensure that positive changes and successful outcomes are obtained for the ENTIRE student body for years to come. After voicing our concerns to the Board and its Administration over the past 9 months, without success, we deem it necessary to employ the aid of the Charter Division at the Georgia Department of Education. By informing DOE, we are able to ensure that a higher authority is knowledgeable about our hardships and more importantly can moderate the process if/as needed.
