Keep Daric M. Grant Jr. enrolled in Gladys Noon Spellman Elementary

Since Daric M. Grant Jr's relocation back to his native town (Washington DC) he has been nothing less than marvelous in all academic areas. He has developed leadership skills taking on tasks such as helping other students with daily assignments and correcting any errors they may come in contact with; gaining respect and friends along the way. Daric is also above the normal first grade student level in reading. He recently completed a program entitled (Six Flags Read to Succeed) which required him to read books of any selection for a grand total of 360 minutes. As a prize he won a free tickets to the Six Flags Amusement Park. Daric is very proficient in math, social studies, and science; he enjoys his school evironment and has participated in every school event since enrollment. the most recent event was entitled (Movin' to the Movies) where his entire class showcased "The Pink Panther" as a musical stage play. Daric has adjusted very well with the help of his friends and classmates, his teacher Mr. Gooden, and his prinicple Mrs. Holiday. It would definitely be in his best interest to continue his education at Gladys Noon Spellman Elementary, relocating him now would be detrimental to his health and well-being.
