I Miranda start this petition to change our high school mascot name and identity. We need a change in this school. I'm tired of hearing people Cibecue this and Cibecue that. i dont want to be known as a dish'chii'bikoh wildcat anymore. i want something more meaingful. yeah the wildcats are okay but the " Renegades" are better. it explains us. Not apaches, other schools have that. People we go up against in athletic sports have that name already. Im open minded to change our mascot to whatever the students want, it doesnt have to be the Renegades it was just something that i prefered. the "Dish'chii bikoh Renegades" explains us more, we were the apaches that fought against the white men. We were the natives that didnt submit to them, didnt sign a treaty. We stil fight till this day, and even against our own people. i think you should all consider this and please sign this.
