The California Legislature is considering the Middle Class Scholarship Act by Assembly Speaker John A. Pérez, which would cut college fees by two-thirds.
At the same time college fees have been skyrocketing, large out-of-state corporations are taking advantage of a tax loophole to drain $1 billion out of California every year.
The Middle Class Scholarship Act closes that loophole and uses the money to cut college fees by two-thirds for middle income families in California.
