We are evaluating all schools by standardized tests holding all teachers to the same standards, but we are still not funding all schools equally. Some districts have transportation for all of their students, while other districts must depend upon public tranportation and/or students walking to their school(s) in the district. The facilities also are not built equally; many buildings are outstanding while some are terrible; The class sizes are also considerably different: Many schools have under 20 students; while others have class sizes near 40 or more per class. We need students to have an equal opportunity to succeed, and their teachers also need to be evaluated based upon similar circumstances in terms of class sizes, student attendance and supplies provided by the districts.
