We need your support to get adequate coaching and facilities for our JV and Freshman sports. All the focus is on varsity. It takes equal attention on all grades to build a successful program.
- SHORT STAFFED- We need more baseball coaches. When varsity has a game or any other activity the JV coach goes to help, leaving one freshman coach to run a practice with two teams. The result is a slow moving practice with only general instruction. This is to much responsibility for one coach. We need coaches who are excited about baseball, full of energy, and can relate to our younger athletes.
-SOPHMORES- We need a sophmore baseball team. JV consists of juniors and sophmores, therefor many sophmores must wait a year to play JV, missing the opportunity to workout with thier team and coaches and maintaining a high skill level which can turn into varsity state championships. Many other schools we play have sophmore teams.
-FACILITIES- We need to do a better job providing facilities for try-outs and practices. During inclement weather we have two or three teams waiting on or sharing space for practices or try-outs. Proper scheduling and planning or other venues can inable coaches to be more efficient and have more time in try-outs and practices.
Presently our younger soccer players are changing clothes on the soccer field for lack of locker room access.
