Remove Tom Flanagan from the University of Calgary

Tom Flanagan has recently stated that he does not think that people should be jailed for viewing child pornography. He has also stated that he has been on the mailing list of the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) for years:

Finally, he has argued that watching child pornography does not involve harming another person. This of course ignores the fact that harm and abuse had to occur for the child pornography to be produced in the first place.

Such views should not be welcome at the University of Calgary or in any institution in any community anywhere. Tom Flanagan should not have the ability to spread such views at the University, and should not have direct contact with our children here in Alberta.

Please sign and share this petition. We want to tell the University of Calgary that Flanagan's views in this regard are harmful and disgusting and can only reflect poorly on the University if it fails to act.
